I received a question from a customer regarding the terminating resistor of DS90LV001.
- Is a terminating resistor (100Ω) required for the "input differential signal pin"?
From the figure of "Cable Repeater Application" on page 7 of the data sheet (DS101338-05-JP) and "LVDS001EVK Revision 1.0 (LVDS001EVK.DOC)", they felt that it is necessary. However, there is no clear description (including whether it is included in the IC or not).
I would like advice on how to deal with it.
