TCA9800: Coupling with other device which uses static offset

Part Number: TCA9800
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCA9517,

Hello,

in my application, I need to connect TCA9800, shifting voltage level from 3V3 to 1V8, to an I2C bus differential extender which uses static offset. The single ended side of the extender behaves like the B side of PCA9517. I attach the scheme for more clarity.

Is it possible to connect side A of TCA9800 with the single ended side of the extender (equal to side B of PCA9517)?

This implies that I'll have to connect side B of TCA9800 with two sensors (I2C slaves) which are powered to 1V8 (VCCb=1V8), while side A will be powered at VCCa=3V3. Is this solution feasible?

In these conditions, is it sufficient that the each slave device is able to sink at least Icl?

Thank you
