DS80PCI800: EEPROM Charateristics

Hello E2E,

I am looking through the DS80PCI800 Datasheet, and I noticed that the maximum EEPROM size is 8kbit. Are there any other restrictions to keep in mind (e.g. page size, mamory organization) for this part?

Any chance there is a version with larger EEPROM?

    Hi Russell,

    We are limited to 8Kbits only. Each device option takes about 9 bytes so with one 8Kbits part can contain settings for several DS80 parts. Is this question being asked because this customer is using bigger size EEPROM for other products and this would reduce the overall inventory of parts?
