Hi team,

I have a customer experiencing current leaking (the schematic shows 1mA) from the bus to ground. The pulses could not reach high enough to be recognized.

What are some of the application for this? Power lines? Digital Lines (bus)? They tried this on an I2C line and found issues also. When they removed the CR2 the problem went away.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Hi Connie,

I'm sorry your customer is experiencing this issue. Can you find out what the voltage levels are on the Vcc pin and IO pins?

Hi Matt,

The Vdd is 3.3V, the signal pins are LOW and HIGH where LOW is just above 0 and high is just below 3.3V.

Hi Connie,

Those 1000 pF capacitors on each IO pin are probably prohibiting the signals from reaching their required levels. Do you know why they are there? If they can be removed, I would try that and see if the problem persists.
