TIOS1013: Power-Up-Delay in Push-Pull mode

Part Number: TIOS1013

Hi,

I am thinking about using the TIOS1013 in Push-Pull mode. Will there be a Power-Up-Delay of 30ms (with Output Voltage 12V) as mentioned in figures 9-5 and 9-6 of the datasheet for High-Side and Low-Side mode  ?

  • Hi Christoph,

Yes, there will be a delay at power-up when you use the device in Push-Pull mode.

The 30mS Power-Up delay shown in figures 9-5 and 9-6 of the datasheet are because of the t(uvlo) specification (OUT re-enable delay after UVLO).  Anytime the voltage drops below the UVLO threshold including at power-up because the voltage is below the UVLO threshold, the device will hold the OUT pin in a Hi-Z state for typically 30mS to ensure the voltage has stabilized before becoming active.

    Regards,

    Jonathan
