TCAN1044-Q1: Can NC pin connect to 5V

Hi experts,

To make a compatible design for both TCAN1044-Q1 and TCAN1044V-Q1, customer want to connect pin 5 to 5V no matter they use TCAN1044 or TCAN1044V, so I would like to check if  the NC pin of TCAN1044 is allowed to connect to 5V? Thank you.
