RGMII to 1000BASE-KX

I need to implement an ethernet interface over 1000BASE-KX as part of a OpenVPX backplane. My FPGA supports RGMII. Is there an appropriate PHY part or combination of parts that would make this possible?

It's specifically a single-lane (one RX pair and one TX pair) version of 1000BASE-KX).

Hi Ross,

After talking the team, the DP83869 would be your best bet to meet the requirements of a backplane application. Do note that because this PHY does not officially support 1000Base-KX, we cannot guarantee the performance in this system, but out of the PHYs in our portfolio, this would likely be the most compatible with your application.
