Do we have a lower power version of the TCA9509 in the TSSOP package? We would need the same pinout. The Icc is too high for my customer's system and they need sub 1mA.

What are the Vcc voltages on the A side and B side?

Also did they want to switch to the TSSOP package? The TCA9509 is a VSSOP package and there aren't many TSSOP package level translators.

Apologies. I meant VSSOP. Layout is locked so we are looking for something p2p. They are using a competitors low power solution in the same package. Hence why we need to keep the footprint.

It is 3.3V to 3.3V.

No worries, however could you verify the supply voltages? The TCA9509 requires that VCCA <= (VCCB-1) if those are the correct supply voltages then that device would not work.

The TCA9800 has a 0.5 mA current source and it has no supply restrictions so you could use it in place of the TCA9509.

The TCA9509 has current sources on the A side, the TCA980x, on the B side. This is likely to require changes to the pull-up resistors.

This is absolutely true. The TCA9800 should have pull up resistors placed on the A side and not the B side.
