RE: SRIO/PCIe Switch between FPGA to DSP Path

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS125BR111, DS80PCI402

Hi Team,

I have some queries regarding SRIO and PCIE path, kindly look at my queries and please do the needful.

In our existing design SRIO interface x4 connected between FPGA and DSP, In new system we are going with modular concept Like FPGA and DSP having different boards connected through backplane. we need a provision to feed and save data in SRIO path.

So we are planning to use SRIO switch in between FPGA and DSP. We can use this switch to improve the signal drive strength for backplane architecture and we can able to configure the data path between FPGA to DSP / External PC to DSP.

Please suggest in which board we need to place the SRIO switch. I have attached the data path block diagram for your reference. Similarly we planning to use PCIe interface also Kindly review our block diagram provide your feedback.

As of now we identified SRIO and PCIe switch from other vendors, If any parts suits our application from TI product kindly share the details we will use this same.

Thanks

Naveen P
