Hi Sirs,

As I knew the 953/954 can support the I2S system.

May I know the 953/954 GPIO port can be used on the MEMS Microphone system?

Hi Henry,

You can check Table 9 and Table 10 in the 954 datasheet.

Table 9 shows the GPIO spec for forward channel (from 953 -> 954), and Table 10 shows the GPIO spec for back channel (from 954 -> 953).

Hi Sir,

My customer have another below questions, could you help to reply them?

(1)Does it can support MEMS (PDM interface) microphone directly with DS90UB953A?

(2)How does it implement MEMS ( I2S interface ) microphone on the DS90UB953A of platform? If we don’t use any codec IC between DS90UB953A and MEMS microphone.

Hi Henry,

The 953 doesn't have any audio interface. But you can use the GPIO pins to transmit audio.
