SN65LVDT2: Receiver output loading?

For SN65LVDT2, can you clarify loading on the receiver outputs?

In Figure 3 and Figure 4 of the DS, it appears we can safely apply various loads to the output and allow for safe operation.

However, if the datasheet, abs max for receiver output current is +/- 12ma.

Can you clarify?

    Hi Gregory,

    We can only guarantee safe operation (no damage to the device) when the device is operated within the absolute max settings specified in the datasheet: +/- 12mA. The figures are just for reference. You should always refer to the absolute max and recommended operating conditions.
