Are there any functional differences between TCA8418 and TCA8418E, other than the packaging?

    Hello,

    The TCA8418E has integrated ESD protection on the GPIO pins. There are also some electrical characteristic differences, specifically ICC and RINT. Otherwise they are the same device and can preform the same functions.
