TCAN1044-Q1: Can TCAN1044DRBRQ1 replace TCAN1043GDRQ1?

Because TCAN1043GDRQ1 out of stock,

I want to use TCAN1044DRBRQ1 instead !

Are there any problems, or is there anything to pay attention to? Thank you!

    Hi Kygo,

    TCAN1044-Q1 is an 8-pin CAN transceiver with less features than a 14-pin CAN. This device does not have inhibit (INH), WAKE, or nFAULT features and cannot be powered by battery voltage. It does however feature a low-power sleep mode with remote wake functionality. The top 8 pins of TCAN1043 also share the same functionality as the 8 pins of TCAN1044-Q1, so if these extra features are not used, the 8-pin device can be dropped in to perform the basic functions of TCAN1043.
