TUSB322I: Device Attach Status

Hi Expert,

Customer used TUSB322I and have some questions would like to clarify.

1. INT_N(pin6) is 1.8V, R925 is open, not mounted. When there is a device attached, INT_N would pull low(0V), but when device is detached, why INT_N didn't go back to high, still hold in low? Customer also checked ID pin, and it would change.

2. when device is attached, REG09 = 0x70; when device is detached, REG09 = 0x20.

But why REG08 is always 0x00 not matter device is attached or detached?

SW must make sure the INTERRUPT_STATUS has been cleared to zero.Rewrites to this registe rare needed for the INT_N to be correctly asserted for all interrup event

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your feedback. Customer tried to clear the INTERRUPT_STATUS but it does not work.
i2cset -y 0 0x47 0x09 0x00

They also tried soft reset, doesn't work neither.
i2cset -y 0 0x47 0x0a 0x08

INTERRUPT_INT is always low once it it goes low.

Do you have more suggestions?
