    Hello Singh,

Could you please provide us what are you getting in the device manager?

    Regards,

    Roberto.

  • Hi Roberto ,

thanks for replying i am getting "TUSB3410 UART EVM(COM13)" on my pc and the com no changes on different PCs but when i try to connect to COM13 it does not connect and say please check settings

i have also uninstalled the drivers for EEPROM burner utility

    Thanks,

    Karanpreet Singh

  • Karanpreet Singh,

Please change the TUSB3410 port number to a lower port (COM3). Please go to device manger ->TUSB3410 UART EVM(COM13) -> properties ->port settings -> COM port number -> change to a lower number . Now unplug and connect again the TUSB3410 EVM board from the PC, now the device manager will show you the TUSB3410 EVM board with the new COM port number, you can try again with the HyperTerminal.

    Best regards,

    Roberto.

  • Roberto Diaz,

thanks for the help now its working, actually there were two problems one was the com. no and the other was that at the 1.8v input i was not getting 1.8v rather i was getting around 1.2 volts due to wrong resistor value. so now after changing that its working.

  • Hi to all,

I am using TUSB4130 USB-COM cable to open hyper terminal to communicate with some device. The hyper terminal is opening but it is failing to send the commands to the device. And rest of the hardware is working properly. I also used PL2303 USB-COM cable. The device is responding properly with PL2303. Was der any difference bteween these two? i.e., TUSB4130 and PL2303... and is der any hardware r software changes required for making TUSB4130 to work properly?  Please suggest me...

    Thank you,
