Hi Team,

I am considering a device that controls Alt DP from two TPS65987Ds to TUSB1064 for UFP and TUSB1146 for DFP.(conrol via GPIO)
Is there a GUI TOOL project file that can be used as a reference for each TPS65987D?
If so, would you please provide it?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, we do not have a reference project for this. However, if you create a new project, it will prompt a series of a few questions and once you answer those accordingly, the project file should mostly be configured for DP. You will then just need to adjust a few registers to match the configuration change between the two. You can also reference the TPS65987D Technical Reference Manual as well as the DP Alt Mode App Note for detailed information.

    Thank you for your prompt response.
    I have read the document you pointed out and are confirming it.
    I thought it would be helpful to have an example of a project file that was confirmed to work in order to verify the integrity of the settings in the GUI TOOL.
    (For example, a project file that runs on TUSB1146 EVM or TUSB1064 EVM)

    Hi Wataru-san,

    Yes I understand and those documents should list out what type of configurations will be needed. If you would like, you may configure the project and then I can help look at your PD configurations and have another team member part of the mux team look over the TUSB1146/1064 portion. Since the TPS65987D EVM as a standalone doesn't support DP directly we don't have a ready project file configured.
