Is this Application Note the latest version? But SN65DSI86 is not in the Users Manual, why?

Hi,

The DSI Tuner does not support DSI86. To generate the DSI86 registers programming value, please use the spreadsheet in this e2e FAQ.

Registers data N and FFFF are correct? What does \n &FFFF,mean,as below

Hi,

FF 0A is a special DSI command. It means stall between commands; payload is used to indicate the number of milliseconds to stall between commands. So this is not a register programming command.

FFFF means the input value is not correct.

For example HBP = Horizontal Blanking - Horizontal Front Porch - Horizontal Pulse Width

The input horizontal blanking = 100, horizontal front porch = 180, horizontal pulse width = 80, so HBP = -160. You can't have negative number.

The same concept applies to the VBP as well.
