    Hi Mark,

    None of the TCA9517 packages come with a thermal pad on the bottom of the device. That is why there is no measurement for RθJC(bot) on the datasheet. You can read more about how these measurements are taken on page 7, section 2.4, of this write up here.

    The TJ can be calculated using equations also found in that write up. A simple yet accurate estimation of the TJ can be found in section 3, page 8, of the write up I linked above.

    The ψJT can be found in section 7.4 of the datasheet.  The write up I provided also has many other ways to calculate the TJ of the device.
