TDP142: AUX redriver/buffer

Hi team,

My customer is using TDP142 for DP 1.4 sink application.

He is afraid that there will be noise issue in the AUX lanes, because there is no redrivers/buffer for AUX in TDP142.

so, could you suggest a redriver/buffer product for it?

Hi Zeming,

AUX operates as a lower data rate (1 Mbps) and typically does not require a redriver or buffer. What makes customer concerned about noise on this bus?

Hi Malik,

Because this is a sink side application, so the customer needs a redriver or buffer to protect ESD when DP connector plugged in or unplugged.
