Hi Sir,

My customer end product using TUSB8040, the product is function work.

But after a week, computer "device manager" get "TI TUSB8040 EEPROM Programming Endpoint", the content is FFH after read EEPOROM.

If re-program the product, it can work fine.

Do you have idea why will read FFH and need re-program it the will work?

    Hi Ian,

    When this occurs, does the customer try to read back the EEPROM and it reads back all "FF"?  I don't understand how the EEPROM is getting erased, does any other device in the system have access to it?  The hub will enter programming mode if it sees a blank EEPROM attached or in some of the older phys if a SE1 condition is seen on one of the downstream ports for > 1 sec.
