Max distance is a system dependent parameter depending on many factors (speed, tolerable signal distortion, tolerable jitter, etc.). You will need to test this in your system. There is an EVM for this device that you can use for the evaluation as well.

Hi Katrina,
No, the SN65LVDT33 does not have as much drive as the SN74 part. I don't have a best guess for the length here as the output isn't meant for driving long distances. That is what the LVDS input is for. Can you put the SN65LVDT33 at the end of your signal?
