TPS65988: Will OCP be disabled if PP1_OCCTimeoutEnable is set to 0?

If PP1_OCCTimeoutEnable is set to 0(although it's not recommended),may I know if the OCP will be disabled?

Hi Hao,

No this is only the enable for the timeout value, it will not disable the OCP completely.

Hi Hari,

If the timeout value is unlimited when PP1_OCCTimeoutEnable is set to 0, as TPS65988 has 5A internal MOSFET, does it mean that the OCP will never happen if the real current is less than 5A but higher than the PDO max current?
