Hello Experts,

I was going through datasheet for DS90UB941AS-Q1, I was confused.

Can anybody please tell me what is the difference between GPIO pins and Register only GPIO pins.

    Hello Saqib,

    Regular GPIOs can be linked with remote GPIOs on the deserializer side so that they mirror the state of the remote GPIO for example. Register only GPIOs can be used as outputs too, but the high/low state is programmed through registers. They can not be linked to a remote GPIO to automatically mirror the high/low state
