Hello team,

Do we have a consolidated document or table for FPD-LINK III that outlines all the requirements and specs to ensure good signal quality (i.e. insertion loss, eye diagram, impedance tolerance, etc)? We're looking specifically for 964/933 pair if available. I found this slide deck online, and slide 14 lists out some of this, but not sure, would it still apply to a 964/933 pair?

Hello,

I think a great place to start would be in the datasheets. The parametric tables have data regarding the eye opening specs, the layout section of the datasheets have information regarding the termination impedance and trace specifications. Also in the layout sections there is information regarding the channel specifications as well.

Nick, thanks for the feedback. I believe we should have some internal table for testing/validation. The datasheet has some pointers but is not very explicit in terms of a checklist to go through. Can you double check if we have something like this? I've went through but haven't found anything. Thanks

Is this a specific document that you are thinking about? I have an FPD3 channel spec that probably lays out all the information you are asking about but I do not want to share that here. We may be able to communicate offline about this.
