A question about boot ROM

Do the gpio37 and gpio34 have to be given a high level by the outside when the boot mode is mode 3? Can I enter boot mode 3 without high level? If not, is there a risk? What are the risks?

    Hi Zhang,

    I am not sure I completely understand your question. There are no pins on the DP83822 called "gpio37" and "gpio34". Are you referring to the GPIO strap pins in general on the PHY? For the strap pins, if you want mode 3, then the voltage on those pins needs to be as specified for mode 3 in section 8.5.1 of the datasheet.
