Hello,

I have a question regarding the Quad Mini-Fakra to 4x Single FAKRA cable assembly delivered with the DS90UB960-Q1 Eval Board:

What is the correct mating connector for the Single FAKRA connectors on that cable? Male or Female?

This information is not listed in the user manual for the eval board and the TI site currently has an issue displaying detailed information.

I suppose the Single FAKRA connectors on the cable assembly are Male, is that right?

    Hello Robert,

    I would say the connector on the cable is female and the connector on the board is male.  If you look at the EVM User's guide for a compatible serializer like the 953, the mating connector on the board is the 59S10H-40ML5-Z.  This connector will mate to the single FAKRA connector on the squid cable.
