There is no virtual id coming from the sensor. I want to add virtual id to different lane of the CSI-2 data lane. Is it possible to add either in UB953 or UB954?u

Hello Md,
you can assign in the 954 a virtual channel ID for each RX port. For more details, refer to 954 d/s section "7.4.20 CSI-2 Input Mode Virtual Channel Mapping"
I know i can do it for different ports. The question was about data coming in the same port. the data is bridged for 2+2 = 4 lane before the serializer and sent through. Now I have to set up virtual ids for the lanes so can I don't have to use a splitter and reference clock after the deserializer.
No, this is not possible. This is something shall be comming from the source of the data. Our device can't assign VC per lane.
Okay. That's what I needed to know. Fortunately, I found that the bridge itself could assign both sensor data to two different VC codes. So, I need to program the bridge to set the different VC codes for the sensors.
Thanks for your reply.
