TCAN4550-Q1: About the undershoot.

Hi team,

My customer found a point where the undershoot becomes large at the time of output and input.
Output : 1st BIT at rising up.
Input :    Last BIT at falling down.

Could you tell me why does undershoot occur only in this part?

Sincerely.
Kengo.

  • Hi Kengo,

This looks like scope noise to me as the pulses are represented by a single pixel on the screen. Please check and make sure that the scope probes have a reliable ground reference close to where the signal is being measured. If this dip still appears, try to zoom in on it to see what the pulse width is. Often times it is a few stray sample points where reliable data was not able to be captured.
