TUSB9261-Q1: ARM Linux Support

Part Number: TUSB9261-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM4378, , TUSB9261

I'm trying to interface TUSB9261-Q1 SATA bridge with an AM4378 processor. I've successfully flashed TUSB9261-Q1 using the FlashBurner Software with the latest firmware v1.06, but I'm not able to detect the TUSB9261-Q1 on my Linux USB bus. I do have gpio control to turn the power on/off to TUSB9261-Q1, but it still does not detect it in the kernel.

Questions:

1. How does it detect the hard disk in the kernel?

2. How can I confirm if my kernel is configured right?

3. Is there any sysfs control?

4. How can I make the kernel auto detect the drive if it is connected?

And my lsusb output is:

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:2514 Standard Microsystems Corp. USB 2.0 Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I'm assuming the bridge must show up in lsusb output if it is configured correctly.
