DP83867E: RX _CTRL output abnormal during RGMII loopback mode

Hello,

Our customer used DP83867E with RGMII loopback function, it connected with MAC TX, and the loop output connect MAC RX. MAC output RGMII 100Mhz data, and the TX_CTRL is always high level during data transmission. And he found that the RX_CTRL of DP83867E has irregular low pulse output, and this caused MAC received abnormal data, and the data would be lost irregularly.

Another Phenomena is that RX CLK，RX CTRL，RX DATA are all low level for about 50us during data transmission, but when detect the MDIO data, host doesn't send reset signal to PHY, could you please help to analyze?

Hi Kailyn,

Are you able to provide the schematic? I would like to look for anything that would be pulling down the RX_CTRL output.

Can you also provide a register dump for registers 00 to 1F, 6E, 6F, 0x32.

With this information, I will be able to better troubleshoot your issue.
