Thanks for this first part of the reply.

The camera streams in 1G Ethernet link with copper interface. It is using multicast and jumbo frames. The Ethernet link is connected to the PHY. Connection between the PHY and the processing unit (a FPGA containing the MAC in my case) is in SGMII (LVDS).

Trouble is that unicast packets are correctly sent/transmitted. I don't know how to isolate the trouble: multicast configuration or jumbo frames...

What is the interpacket gap used? 

What is the nature of the transmission failure, packets are lost, errors observed, link loss, etc.?

Does the link partner have the capability to generate packets and count errors? If so we can set the PHY for reverse loopback, and have the link partner check for errors. PHY can be set for reverse loopback through register 0x16.
