TUSB1042I: EQx pin connection in I2C mode

Dear TI,

I am planning on using the TUSB1042I in I2C mode. Can the EQ1 and EQ2 pins be left floating in that case?

Hi Marcvis,

Yes they can. Be aware that at power-up the EQ pins are sampled to get the initial state of the equalizer. In I2C be sure to write the EQ_OVERRIDE to 1.
