Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9548A,
Hi,
In the data sheet, the ICC_Standby mode_Low and High inputs values are listed on the TCA9548A but not on the TCA9548A-Q1.
Please tell me this value of TCA9548A-Q1.
Best Regards,
Nishie

Hi Nishie,
I have notified the relevant Apps Engineer and I will get back to you with an answer later today or early Monday morning.
I went through the char data and it looks like we never took measurements for the low and high inputs for either device. It is possible this was calculated and I'll let you know if that is the case.
Either way, I expect the Q1 device to preform extremely similarly to the non-Q1 device. In standby mode their currents were very similar. Is there a requirement of your system that is extremely close to the values of the non-Q1 device?
Best,
Chris
Hi Chris,
If you have an answer from the Apps engineer, please let me know.
If it was calculated, could you please tell me the formula?
As a background to using Q1 device, I am thinking of evaluating with Q1 device because non-Q1 device are out of stock.
Is there any problem in mounting the non-Q1 device after evaluating with the Q1 device?
Best Regards,
Nishie
Hi Nishie,
After speaking with the Apps Engineer it turns out that the values in the "Low and Hight Inputs" section of the datasheet are just the worst case values from the char data. For these devices they are the same.
You can replace the Q1 device with the non-Q1 device there is one difference in their junction and operating temperatures. For the Non-Q1 device the maximum junction temp, with Vcc<=3.6V, is 130C. For the Q1 device the maximum junction temp is always 90C.
For the non-Q1 device, with VCC <=3.6, -40C <= T_A <= 125C. For the Q1 device, -40C<= TA<=80C, for all voltages.
Since you will be using the Q1 device first and swapping back to the non-Q1 device there should be no issues with the operating temperatures.
Best,
Chris
