Hello,

My customer has some questions about the comment below in the DS250DF410 datasheet.

1. Does the above comment mean that the output jitter is higher than when the CDR is activated?

2. Could you please provide any data comparing the difference in output jitter?

The customer wants to know how much higher the output jitter is.

Yes. However, TI has empirically found that the retimer output jitter performance for CDR bypass mode enabled is more than good enough for data rates of 14Gbps and lower
