DS90UB948-Q1 GPIO contral

The timing of the control panel requires 6 GPIO ports. Can GPIO0-GPIO7 be configured to local output  control the timing of panel

ALP is a simple Tool hence we do not have documentation for it. Nevertheless, you can find some discription and useful tipps in the ALP Tool under Help / ALP Help

Hello, because we don't have an EVM board, we use a single board we made by ourselves. I want to access the UB948 registers through I2C. Is there any way?

For using ALP you will need either USB2ANY or Aardvark.

If you do not want to use ALP, then you can use any Tool which allowes you to access I2C bus.

If I use ALP, do I have to use USB2ANY or Aardvark? Can other USB to I2C tools be used?

Hello, we use DS90UB925 EVM board and connect to DS90UB948 board through FPD-LINK, but ALP recognizes DS90UB926, and the I2C address is 0X00, see the picture, can you have any suggestions?

925 FPD-LINK connects to 948 RIN0+/RIN0-

If you connect your PC directly to the 948 EVM, do you see the right device with correct address?

For me if I pair the 925 EVM with the 948 I can see both correct devices through the 925 ALP. See screenshot!

     we don’t have 948 EVM, only 925 EVM, so the PC can’t connect to 948 EVM directly. Can you tell me the actual configuration of 948 EVM and 925 EVM on your side? E.g. IDX MODE_SEL0 MODE_SEL1

These are default. I did not change any thing!
