Need help to choose items related to RS485 and RS232

Hi 

I need to choose appropriate ICs compatible with RS485 (1300 chips) and Rs232(300 chips) as a reel packaging for pick and place machine 
ICs shoulld be in Automotive grade. My order should be  finished in 24 hours.
any help or way to choose.

    I've assigned this thread to an applications engineer who will be getting back to you shortly, but we'll need more information on the function of the application to narrow down what device to give you. And what do you mean by "order should be finished in 24 hours"?

    Can you also provide any requirements of your system (voltage requirements, package requirements, temp requirements, etc.)?

     Hi Chris,
    Actually the last board use ICs from Automotive Grade.

    I did My order at this time but it will be nice info for the next orders.
    supply voltage is 5V.

    package is SOIC16 for RS232 and SOIC8 for RS485. (SMD)
    Temperature requirements between -40 to 85 at least.

    Another questions pls, Can you tell me the main difference between Catalog and Automotive  grades?

    Ihab,

    If you do not need automotive grade, our portfolio of THVD15xx devices are 5V RS-485 transceivers that work in the -40C to 85C temperature range. 

    The difference between automotive and catalog is the qualification testing they go through. Automotive qualification is much more stringent to simulate the harsh environment that these devices may be operating in. There are also different grades of automotive qualification, with the majority of our devices being grade 1.
