ISO7841: Differences to ISO7741QDWW

Part Number: ISO7841

Hi,

Is there any obvious difference between those two devices:
- ISO7841DWW
- ISO7741QDWW

Except of course the automotive AEC-Q100 qualification or price tag.

I can see that there are small differences in CMTI specification or in Chanel-to-channel output skew time.

Are there any other differences that prevents one from replacing ISO7841DWW with ISO7741QDWW?

Thanks and best regards,

Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

Thank you for posting to E2E! I apologize for my previous response which was deleted.

There are no major differences in recommended operating conditions or operational behavior that would prevent ISO7841DWW from being replaced with ISO7741QDWW. Other than small thermal/power dissipation and current consumption differences, these devices are similar digital isolators that are both meant to perform the same functions, with ISO77441 being our recommended part for most cases.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Respectfully,
    Manuel Chavez
