what is the difference between ISO7842 and ISO7742?

    ISO7742 is our latest generation, 100Mbps and most robust EMC digital isolator. The key difference between ISO7842 and ISO7742 is that ISO78xx family of devices are rated for 5.7kVrms while ISO77xx family is 5kVrms. The rest of the electrical and HV specs are similar.

    I'd recommend ISO7742 for newer designs as long as 5kVrms is adequate for your application.
