SN6507: Radiated Noise Countermeasures and Higher-than-expected Temperature Rise

Part Number: SN6507

Hi team,

I have a question about two issues.

1) High frequency noise due to ringing occurs on the input side of the SN6507. We have confirmed that adding a snubber circuit as shown in the diagram below will suppress the noise, but are there any concerns about adding one?

2) The temperature of SN6507 rises more than expected. Specifically, the surface temperature of the SN6507 rises to about 53°C (even more when the snubber circuit is added), even though the load is only about 16V/0.15A on the secondary side. What is the possible cause?

Thanks.
