ISO6740: UVLO query

Part Number: ISO6740
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO6760, , ISO6741

Hi team,

My customer would like to know the VCCI threshold voltage to output default for ISO6740, ISO6741, and ISO6760.

Which one my customer should follow?

1. VCC<=1.05V described in Table9-2.

2. The minimum UVLO falling voltage 1.1V specified in the electric characteristics table.

Best regards,

Kazuki Itoh

  • Hello Itoh-san,

    Thank you for reaching out. Table 9-2 explains the behavior of ISO674x device when VCCI and VCCO are either powering up or powering down. This part of the datasheet is for use as a reference.

    The isolator can be considered "powered down" when the VCCx voltage is less than the UVLO- spec of 1.1V. Instruct the customer to refer to the datasheet spec when designing for worst case min and max values. The UVLO range of ISO6740 family is described by the UVLO+ and UVLO- specs in "7.3 Recommended Operating Conditions".

    Best,
