ISO7820: UL yellow card for package CTI

Tool/software:

The UL certification body can find this certificate according to the UL number I provided in your company's specification. The problem now is that there is a description of CTI=600V material in the specification, but there is no description of CTI about package material in your company's UL certification certificate.

Please assist with this, Can you provide the yellow card like as follow, thanks.

Hello Hui,

The CTI is defined by the mold compound used for the device, so the certification is essentially provided by the mold compound vendor, although the exact mold compound we use for our devices is proprietary information.

We have 5 different certifications for this device that the device is certified to including the >600V CTI, and you can find the device level certificates for these on the product folder.

thanks for your reply, and UL's latest audit feedback, the UL certificate does not explain the superscript *, the UL certification body does not know what the asterisk represents?

Hello,

The asterisk means that those devices have variants available to them. For example, ISO7820 has a F version and non-F version.

and ISO7820 has been VDE certified, which should include CTI. Can you provide a detail page of CTI in the VDE report?

Hi Hui,

The CTI is included within the datasheet under the "Package Insulation and Safety-Related Specifications" Table. Please see the image below:

This was also determined by following the test conditions stated in "DIN EN 60112 (VDE 0303-11); IEC 60112; UL 746A".
