ISO1540: Letter of Volatility Request

To whom it may concern,

 

I am reaching out on behalf of my employer to request a letter of volatility (LOV) for part ISO1540D The LOV will be used to develop sanitization procedures for hardware which this part is installed on. Could you please provide an LOV for this part? If an LOV is not applicable because this part does NOT contain volatile OR non-volatile memory, can you confirm that? I have attached an LOV form that can be filled out and returned if needed to fulfill this request.

    Hi James,

    Thanks for reaching out.
    The device ISO1540 doesn't contain Volatile or Non-Volatile Memory, therefore, Letter of Volatility (LOV) doesn't apply to this device.

    Please note that ISO1640 is the latest and an upgrade for ISO1540 offering higher electrical and isolation performance. Therefore, we recommend you to consider using ISO1640 if this is a new design. Thanks.
