Hi Team,
In datasheet, I saw the Continuous output current is +/-50mA, may I know if 50mA for each channel or 6ch totally? Thanks!
Regards,
Cera
That value is purely theoretical. Due to the output impedance of 4 kΩ, you will not be able to draw more than 1.25 mA out of each output.
Hi Ladisch,
Thanks for your reply. Then seems it cannot meet my requirement. My requirement is 15mA/channel, 6ch needed, 3.3V to 5V. Do you have any recommendation?
Regards,
Cera
If "3.3V to 5V" means unidirectional signals, then you can use a buffer with TTL-compatible inputs, such as the SN74LV244AT (or SN74LV541AT with flow-through pinout).
Hey Cera,
If you are driving 15 mA out of 6 channels then you will violate that devices maximum current through Vcc. I recommend they use SN74LXC8T245 for this instead.
