Q1: I see on our ti.com as below, It seems TXS0104E and TXB0304 can't use for UART, I want to know why? or it's just a mistake.

Q2: What are the differences in the application between TXS0104E TXB0304 TXB0104 three devices?

Hey Andy,

We sell generic translators and recommend certain devices that may be more suited for certain interfaces. This doesn't mean some devices we don't recommend aren't going to work it just means there is a better option that we advise.

If you are looking at SPI and UART I recommend taking a look at our newer TXU0304 and TXU0204 devices which are ideal for those interfaces.

Hi Dylan,

The fact is my customer have TXS0104E and TXB0304 AVL. So in the new application, they want to evaluation if TXS0104E and TXB0304 can cover.

Hey Andy,

They can be used for UART, but they aren't suited for heavy loads. Make sure they take care to minimize the capacitive loading as much as possible.
