SN74AVC4T774: Multiple DC and LOTS

Hello,

A customer of ours inquired about these parts.

Parts were purchased thru DIGI-KEY, but have multiple LOTS, DCs, and a slight difference between surface texture and laser markings within the same tape.

Please let me know if you need additional traceability information and if this will affect the parts' form, fit, or function.

Hi Dorian,

I wouldn't see any problem with using any SN74AVC4T774 device in the same socket.

Was this some kind of digikey repackaged reel, or is this a full reel?

It was cut from a TI reel.
Digikey used item code 296-24740-1-ND which means parts were not repackaged.

I'll check with our quality team to find out if mixing lots is a normal practice. I wouldn't see any problem with this, as all the devices are designed to meet our datasheet specifications.

From what I've heard back so far, it sounds like this is not common, but does happen sometimes. I'm waiting to hear back again, but I expect the feedback to confirm that this is approved from our quality team.
