Datasheet required for part number SN00028FK date code 8702. Does anyone have data for this mystery CLCC-28 component?

I have acquired a sample of an obsolete integrated circuit from Texas instruments with the number SN00028FK and a date code of 8702. The component is enclosed in a purple ceramic leadless chip carrier with gold cap and 28 gold contact pads around the 7/16 inch square periphery. I am unable to locate data on this particular part in any of my data books from TI. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hello Alex, 

    This appears to be a custom device, and as such, no information can be provided.  Is the device by itself, or mounted on a pc board?  

    I will confirm the custom status tomorrow and reply with the results.
