Hi Team,

Could you pls look at below two questions from customer? Many thanks.

  1. The power up sequence requirement of VCCA/VCCB/OE/DIR?
  2. If VCCA is powered on, EN is pulled low, VCCB is not powered, and DIR is pulled low. At this time, whether the PORT on the B side is still in Hi-Z state?

    Hey Stanley,

    There is no power up requirement, but since the DIR and OE circuitry are supplied with VCCA its recommended to be ramped first. With Ioff/VCC Isolation, while either of the supplies are at 0 V, the I/O are disabled.

    I recommend using the newer SN74AXC4T245 device instead as it has a more robust power sequencing and is p2p.
