LSF0204D: convert between 3.0V and 3.3V I/O.

Part Number: LSF0204D

I want to use LSF0204D for UART (12Mbps) to convert between 3.0V and 3.3V I/O. According to the datasheet it is written "Also Vref_B is recommended to be at 1.0 V higher than Vref_A for best signal integrity.". Is it possible to use this device? If there are another reccomendation device, please let me know.

  • The I/O voltages can be different from the Vref voltages. (The only restriction is that no voltage is lower than Vref_A.) So you could use 5 V for Vref_B, if you have such a supply.

Anyway, for CMOS signals, a difference of 0.3 V probably does not matter. Check the VIH of the receiving device.
