TXB0108: output logic state at power up with input H-Z condition

Part Number: TXB0108

Hello,

Our customer has asked about how TXB0208 I/O works by power up with A or B Hi-Z input state.

I suppose that it depends on the pull up or down driving during the power up, however this is unknown. Is my understanding correct ?

Oe are there any pull up or pull down function during power up ?

Best regards,

  • There are no pull-up or pull-down resistors, so the power-up state is unpredictable. (But the A/B pins loop back to each other, so they will be consistent.)

It would be possible to add external, very weak pull-up or pull-down resistors (see section 8.3.5 of the datasheet).
