Hi,

We are using SN74AVC8T245RHLR in a design.

Due to current availability and long lead time issues, We are checking if we could find any alternate parts instead of SN74AVC8T245RHLR.

We came across CAVC8T245QRHLRQ1 which seems to be automotive variant of SN74AVC8T245RHLR. There does not seem to be any difference in performance parameters & specifications.

Can you please confirm if we can use CAVC8T245QRHLRQ1 instead of SN74AVC8T245RHLR without any performance impacts in the design?

There isn't any functional difference between the commercial and automotive part. The biggest difference is the Q1 parts go through more intensive temperature tests and restrictions and will be rated for a higher temperature.
